The weekend in Seattle

Brent had a conference to work in Seattle over Mother's day weekend so the whole family decided to join in on the fun.  We bought a Seattle City Pass and crammed a week's worth of fun into 3 1/2 days! Beware... we took a lot of pictures!
This is at Queen Anne's park, a great place to see Seattle and have a photo op. If only the kids would cooperate during photo sessions...
This was Gavin's favorite thing to do: look out the telescope at the Space Needle. The problem as you can see is that he is not tall enough to do it alone. But standing on my knee makes him too tall. So... he tried to squat down while standing on my knee. It didn't take long for my leg to go numb!

Smiley Grace at the top of the Space Needle. (We actually went up to the top two days in a row!)
The Seattle Aquarium. We had fun seeing all the fish and Grace loved playing in the tide pool.

Gavin at the Boeing Air Museum. This was one of our favorite things to do. They have tiny airplanes that the kids can steer and play in. It was Gavin's highlight of the trip.
Brent and Grace in front of the Concord plane. We also went inside the original Air Force One!
We went to the Zoo. We had fun. It was majorly crowded, but fun nevertheless.
Grace at the Science Center.  This was one of my favorite things to do.
Our hotel was just one block from Pikes Market. We were able to go there twice on our trip.
Pikes Market Pig and silly Gavin.
We visited the temple on the way out of town. Brent served his mission in Seattle and has several pictures of himself in this exact same spot! Thanks Brent for the great trip!

I love our kids. David and I were just looking at your pictures and David asked "Is that me?" No, it's your cousin Gav. LOVE the pics. Thanks! Love you guys.

How fun! How was Gavin's graduation? Lizzie was so cute and it was awesome that they knew the song so well, although if I never hear Funny Fish again I wouldn't shed a tear! Liz want to have Gavin come over and play so I will get call you soon!
