Thanksgiving in Cali!

What a happy Thanksgiving we had! We went to Palo Alto, CA to visit Brent's grandma AKA Masma and also to visit his parents and Jenna who drove with her kids from SLC to be with us for the holiday. We had a great time. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, stayed at the beach in Parajo Dunes and spent many fun hours playing in the sand. Here are some highlights: Many photo-ops on the beach. I don't think any of them will make the Christmas card. I am usually the most photogenic of the bunch and I am blinking or smiling funny in almost every picture.
Gavin and his cousins, Joshua and David chasing the waves. David and Gavin got knocked down by the waves. The water is fun to chase, but not warm enough to play in.

Building sand castles was a definate highlight. It is the perfect life for a boy: being outside in the dirt, who could ask for more?

The gang the day after Thanksgiving. Brent's parents, Jenna and the kids and Brent's two uncles. We went as a family to watch the sunset on our last night.

Brent and his Masma. She was always known as Masma and not Grandma. Gavin couldn't grasp that concept so he just called her, "Grandma Masma."
A special thanks to Papa the Pilot and Grandma Mac for the fun trip. It was AWESOME!

YEah!! We loved it too. Worth the drive and all the craziness that went with it. We had a wonderful time. Would you send me the picture of the group on the steps? That's a great shot. Thank you SO much for all your help with my kid-os. It was such a treat to have other adults around to lend a hand. Thank you, thank you!
